I’m a fully-certified IFMGA Mountain Guide.
I grew up in Atlanta and spent my childhood summers working as a lifeguard, while day dreaming about my family’s annual ski trip to Colorado. Right after high school, I moved to Colorado to hone my skiing skills and to be closer to the mountains. While getting a degree in adventure education at Fort Lewis College in Durango, I worked seasonally as a ski instructor and raft guide. I worked for the Colorado Outward Bound School shortly after college and have gone on to guide on peaks like Rainier, Denali, and Aconcagua. I’ve spent the last decade climbing and skiing as much as possible, from long rock routes in the desert to frozen waterfalls in Colorado and glaciated peaks in Washington, Alaska, and Argentina, to skiing narrow couloirs all over the West.

I love sharing my passion and knowledge of the mountains and the outdoors with others. On any given day I get to help people gain a new appreciation for our wild places, learn new skills, surprise themselves with what they’re able to do, and ultimately create unforgettable experiences.

Rockies

I work primarily out of the Front Range, which offers world-class multipitch rock climbing in Eldorado Canyon, stellar alpine rock classics in RMNP, and backcountry skiing in any direction.

AK + International

I guide in Denali National Park on 20,305-foot Denali and the surrounding peaks. I also work in Argentina on Aconcagua, and have personal climbing experience in the Himalaya.
